Megan Anna Rapinoe, born in Redding California on 5 July 1985. The soccer abilities she developed were sharpened in her teenage years. The magicJack was disbanded in the latter half of 2011 and the WPS was disbanded in the beginning of 2012. In 2011, Rapinoe took part in matches with Sydney Football Club FC of the Australian W-League before returning to the United States. In 2012, the Seattle Washington Sounders Women, currently Sound FC, were her first team. In 2013, Rapinoe played soccer in France. After the WPS was disbanded, she joined Seattle Reign FC (now OL Reign) of the National Women's Soccer League NWSL. Rapinoe had two goals in the bronze-medal game as she helped the United States defeated Australia by the score of 4-3.
